FAVORITE CITIES IN NORWAY:
Oslo because it is my home. Bergen is a
beautiful town with cool people and a great
music scene. Trondheim oozes a rocking
spirit! Then there are lots of wonderful small
towns everywhere. It's a great country!
You just can't beat Rockefeller Music Hall
in Oslo. It was a dream come true to play
1,500-capacity club where everybody
in the audience can reach out and touch the
artist and vice versa. It's the of
The view of Northern Norway

on a clear day is unmatched. The
weather is a gamble, granted, but
it's just incredible to stare down
into a glacier while less than a

a mountain, all while the pilot is
expertly wrestling side winds.
FAVORITE RECORDING STUDIO:
FAVORITE ART GALLERY:
The Hallibakken studios in Nesbyen, apart
from my own tiny studio called
Espresso Shack. (The coffee is spectacular,
too.) I've heard great things about Ocean
Sound Recordings on the Island of Giske near
on the northwest coast of Norway.
I have a soft spot for Henie-Onstad Art
Centre just west of Oslo, but a sucker
for modern art.

Whip out your Winnebago and head out

that's part of the show.

Preikestolen, Pulpit Rock. You have to
go there to understand it. I cannot
put it into words.
TRAVEL BUCKET LIST:
like to bicycle through all of Norway from
north to south. I suppose I could go the other
way, but it looks more uphill from looking at
the map. I have to wait a few years so my son
can aim to have him ready when
eight or nine.
